A birder, the client for this project wanted a native plant garden to support pollinators and songbirds.  She also wanted her sloped side yard to be an organized and usable place.  The lawn, paths, and steps in the middle terrace integrate with a gravel garden that supports mostly native plants and provides the main structure for the garden.  Above, we seeded a meadow mix which will have a mown path.  Below we planted a matrix of mostly native plugs the center of which was seeded with a lawn mix.
